Ms. Cantarella is an attorney who has been practicing law for over thirty-two years in New York City, most recently as the Chief Legal Officer of Broadway Technology, a leading provider of Fin-Tech trading solutions. Prior to joining Broadway in 2013, Claudia was a Partner and Co-Chair of the US Intellectual Property Group at Salans LLP. Previously, Claudia practiced law at several firms, including Willkie Farr & Gallagher and Fried, Frank, Frank, Harris, Shriver & Jacobson. She regularly speaks on panels and gives lectures throughout the world on a variety of intellectual property topics.

Ms. Cantarella is also an international development legal expert with over twenty years’ professional experience, providing policy and legislative advice in developing and post- conflict countries (such as Egypt, Iraq, Oman, Seychelles, New Caledonia, and Syria) on behalf of intergovernmental organizations, including the United Nations Food and Agriculture Organization, the World Intellectual Property Organization, and the Pacific Community. She is an Affiliated Expert to the International Law Development Center of the University of California College of Law San Francisco.

In 2014, Ms. Cantarella was elected a Fellow of the American Bar Foundation, an honorary organization of a select group of attorneys, judges, law faculty and legal scholars, nominated by their peers and elected by the Board of the Foundation. Lifetime membership as a Fellow is limited to one-third of one percent of the lawyers licensed to practice in each jurisdiction of the United States.

Ms. Cantarella holds a BS in Speech With Distinction from Northwestern University and a JD from the University of Virginia School of Law.
