Bio

Dr. Danielle White received her doctorate in Political Science in April 2003 from American University in Washington, D.C. Her dissertation is entitled, “Do You See What I See: Perceptions of Representation by African American U.S. Representatives.” Dr. White was born in Florida and raised in Western Massachusetts. Her career plans include public policy research and advocacy. Dr. White has a Master’s degree in Public Administration with a concentration in Public Policy from Clark Atlanta University, and a Bachelor’s degree in History from the University of Maryland, College Park. Her research interests focus on African American politics and the influence of race on social policy issues.
