Angela D. Glymph, Ph.D. has over ten years of experience working in research and program evaluation in private, government, nonprofit, and university settings and has applied these skills to addressing educational and health equity.
She currently serves as an executive leader at Peer Health Exchange, a nonprofit health organization that promotes health equity among adolescents from under-resourced communities across the U.S.
Dr. Glymph has a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of Maryland, Baltimore County, and Ph.D. and M.S. degrees in Psychology from Howard University.
She is a published author of textbooks, book chapters, and empirical research articles and is frequently asked to make presentations and sit on professional panels at national conferences and professional meetings.
In 2020, Dr. Glymph’s work on addressing health equity was featured on NBC’s The Today Show and in Black Enterprise Magazine. As a volunteer and in her role as Adjunct Faculty at Howard University, she provides mentorship and dissertation coaching to doctoral students, specifically to those who are marginalized.
